Kinder Roundup

Instructions for Pre-K3 through first-grade first-time registration

  • If you plan for your student to be enrolled in pre-K3/4, kindergarten or first grade in the fall and they are NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED, please make plans to attend the Kinder Roundup. If your student IS currently enrolled, you will need to register them online before the beginning of the new school year (as all students must be), but there is no need to attend roundup.
  • Get a FAST PASS and shorten your roundup process by filling out required forms online ahead of time. To do this, click the following link to AISD's new student enrollment page: https://www.athensisd.net/parent.../new_student_enrollment. If you need another language, right click your mouse to translate text on the website. Here is a link to a very helpful video which explains clearly how to go about enrolling your child: https://www.loom.com/share/5fdd2566bad34b02922e79fd38420e9a
  • Please attend roundup at the campus where your student will be. Bel Air Elementary: April 19, 5-7pm; Central Athens Elementary: April 20, 5-7pm; South Athens Elementary: April 21, 5-7pm. If you cannot attend on your assigned night, you may enroll your student at one of the other campuses.
  • Want to find out if you qualify for your child to attend free pre-K3 (half day) or pre-K4 (full day)? For Bel Air, call 903-677-6980; for Central call 903-677-6960; for South call 903-677-6970.
  • What to bring to roundup (even if you get the Fast Pass by filling out forms online): Parent ID, student's birth certificate, student's Social Security card, proof of residence (utility bill), and student shot records. Incoming Pre-K students will need proof of qualification, such as proof of income. Please speak to a registrar ahead of time for more information on pre-K qualifications.
