AHS softball rakes in honors
Several members of the AHS varsity softball team were recognized for all-district honors. Pictured (from left): 1st Team Co-Pitcher Dakota Autry; 2nd Team Outfield, Academic All-District, Honorable Mention Academic All-State Chelsea Jacobson; and Honorable Mention All-District players Abbi Wilson, Abby Marquez and Mia Tinsley. Not pictured are 1st Team Infield Ava Pugh, 2nd Team Pitcher Karessa Simmons, 2nd Team Infields Kayleigh Woods and Cassie Frentress, and Honorable Mention All-District Ally Odom. Woods, Odom and Simmons were also named to Academic All-District; Simmons was 2nd Team Academic All-State; and Woods was Honorable Mention Academic All-State.
