Mobile Testing For COVID-19 Begin Registration May 1, 2020 8AM
April 30, 2020 - The Texas Department of State Health Services, Texas Military Forces, Texas Division of Emergency Management, and Emergency Medical Task Force have partnered to increase the availability of COVID-19 testing in Texas by using COVID-19 mobile testing sites.
Drive thru testing will be available the Henderson County residents Saturday, May 2, 2020 and Sunday May 3, 2020, by appointment
ONLY .
ALL tests will be scheduled in advance.
The Call Center number to register and schedule for testing is 512-883-2400, BEGINNING May 1, 2020 at 8am, or online by visiting the website at https://txcovidtest.org ....Again, all testing must be scheduled in advance.
Upon completion of registration, patients will be given appointment times and location for testing completion.
ID and address will be verified at testing site.
There is NO cost for the tests at the mobile site. The test procedure will be a nasal swab administered by a medical doctor.
To be eligible for testing you must have ONE or more of symptoms of COVID-19.
Symptoms include:
- Fever and/or chills
- Sore throat
- Cough (dry or productive)
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
- Body aches/muscle or joint pain
- Nasal congestion
- Loss of taste and/of smell
- Shortness of breath
