If you plan for your student to be enrolled in pre-K3/4 or kindergarten in the fall and they are NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED, you can complete the registration and document submission process online now, without attending the pre-K & kindergarten roundup in person.
Enroll your not-currently-enrolled student via FASTPASS by using the New Student Enrollment link. If you need another language, right click your mouse to translate text on the website.
After getting Skyward Family Access using the link above, click on the 2026-27 PK3-KG New Student Enrollment Application tile from your home screen.
If you already have at least one student enrolled with Athens ISD and need to enroll another, go to your existing Skyward Family Access account and click on the 2026-27 PK-KG New Student Enrollment application tile.
April 10, 9am-1pm is Pre-K & Kindergarten roundup at your student’s elementary-zoned campus
Registration and document submission can be completed online now; however, parents/guardians in need of assistance can go to their student’s elementary-zoned campus on April 10, 9am-1pm for assistance.

What to bring with you April 10: Parent ID, student's birth certificate, student's Social Security card, proof of residence (utility bill), and student shot records.
Incoming Pre-K students will need proof of qualification, such as proof of income. Please speak to a campus registrar ahead of time for more information on pre-K qualifications.
To enroll in PreK3, your student must be at least 3 by Sept. 1; to enroll in PreK4, your student must be at least 4 by Sept. 1; and to enroll in kindergarten, your student must be at least 5 by Sept. 1.
